Emerald Airlines commenced exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional franchise in 2022, launching its services with a Dublin-Donegal flight on 26th February.

In a Linkedin post 29 February the carrier stated it carried over over 3 million passengers across its extensive route network since launch. The airline has grown to over 500 employees.

Emerald Airlines stated “We are now gearing up to operate the largest ever Aer Lingus Regional summer schedule!.”

The carrier operates 12 routes from Belfast City Airport, 15 routes from Dublin Airport and Cork to Bristol. The airline operates a fleet of 17 ATR 72-600 aircraft on Irish and UK AOC’s.
