Egyptair has deployed the Airbus A320neo on direct four times weekly from Cairo hub to Dublin route (MSR775/76) effective from 27 October, replacing Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The first A320neo service was operated by SU-GFL msn 10039.

The two class Airbus A320neo aircraft features 142 seats with 16 business class a generous 48” seat pitch and 126 economy class seats offering 29-30” pitch. The cabin features relaxing mood lighting and personal in-flight entertainment screens and Wi-Fi connectivity and the feature of Live TV, which allows watching many news, sports and other channels.

The Airbus A320neo is equipped with the latest technological advancements, including new-generation CFM Leap-1A engines and Sharklets. These innovations contribute to a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and a 50% decrease in noise levels compared to older aircraft models. Additionally, the A320neo is capable of flying with up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), offering an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional jet fuel.
