Dublin Welcomes Ethiopian Airlines 737 MAX Delivery - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Africa’s leading airline, Ethiopian Airlines took delivery of 34th Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft through Dublin Airport on 26-28 June. The aircraft registered ET-BAJ 62461 msn callsign ‘ETH9202’ arrived Dublin 26 June at 10:22 local direct from Paine Field.

The aircraft departed 28 June at 07:34 local using same callsign direct to Addis Ababa. The aircraft entered service next day operating ETH155/4 domestic service to and from Awasa (AWA) and first international service ETH958/9 same day to Bangui (BGF), in the Central African Republic (C.A.R.).

Ethiopian utilizes ultra-modern aircraft of 142 aircraft featuring the Airbus A350-900, A350-1000 and Boeing 737MAXes and Boeing 737-800s, Boeing 777s, Boeing 787s, and De Havilland Q400.
