The award winning Irish MRO Dublin Aerospace provider of Base Maintenance, APU and Landing Gear services based in Ireland has introduced yet another enhancement to its already extensive service capabilities, with the addition of Airbus A330 base maintenance approval.
The MRO has received both EASA and FAA approval for the base maintenance services on Airbus A330 aircraft including all engine types, complementing its existing Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 product lines. The A330 capability was developed to support the growing market that exists worldwide.

Airbus has delivered 1,088 A330s since the first example entered service around 20 years ago. There are 975 passenger A330s in active service including 597 in the fleet of 72 global airlines and unveiled the A330neo at last week’s Farnborough air show.The aircraft is designed to deliver a 14% reduction in fuel burn per seat compared to the current A330, sharing 95% spares commonality with existing A330 model.
Aviation Week suggests key Airbus customers support suggestions that Airbus could sell more than 1,000 A330neos by 2030. Flightglobal’s Fleet Forecast for 2014-33 predicts deliveries of 6,928 twin-aisle aircraft including just over 4,000 in the 200- to 300-seat category, the typical configuration for the A330.
