Skyliner Aviation reports that China Airlines Airbus A330-301, registration B-18301 (MSN 0602), arrived at Ireland West Airport (NOC) on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, at 10:01 local time. The aircraft arrived in basic China Airlines livery.
According to Flightradar24, the aircraft operated under callsign CAL077, routing Taipei (TPE) – Bangkok (BKK) – Vienna (VIE) – Knock (NOC) between 22 and 24 September.
Data from Planespotters.net indicates the 21.4-year-old widebody was delivered new to China Airlines on 29 June 2004, following its first flight on 19 May 2004. The A330-300 is configured in a 313-seat, two-class layout and powered by GE CF6-80E1A4 engines. As of 24 September 2025, the aircraft is listed as stored at Ireland West Airport.
China Airlines previously announced during the Paris Air Show 2023 its order for 24 Boeing 787-9 and 787-10 Dreamliners, set for delivery between 2025 and 2038. The Dreamliners, configured in three-class cabins, will gradually replace the airline’s A330-300 fleet, contributing to fleet modernization, improved efficiency, and the carrier’s Net Zero 2050 target.
