Cityjet CRJ900

Brussels Airlines announced has signed a wet-lease agreement with Cityjet for two CRJ900 aircraft for this IATA summer season from March 26th until October 28th 2023. The CRJ900s will seat 88 passengers and will operate daily flights to European destinations, including Berlin, Billund, Bordeaux, Copenhagen, Geneva, Hamburg, Lyon, Milan Malpensa, and Vienna.

According to Flightradar24.com  the two Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR aircraft deployed are EI-GEA msn 15224and EI-GED msn 15240

The agreement with CityJet, one of Lufthansa Group’s trusted wet-lease partners, was signed at the end of January, said Brussels Airlines in an statement.

Brussels Airlines Head of Network Strategy and Planning Jan Derycke, said “This cooperation allows us to grow our fleet in a flexible manner and increase our European offer. Thanks to this wet lease agreement, a smooth and broad connection with Brussels Airlines’ intercontinental network will be created during the summer season.”

CityJet Chief Commercial Officer, Cathal O’Connell said “At CityJet, we are looking forward to working with Brussels Airlines in growing its network and delivering excellent service to its passengers throughout this summer season.”
