The Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce in a LinkedIn posted welcomed Etihad Airways announcement that it will resume twice-daily flights between Dublin and Abu Dhabi from April 2026, restoring the carrier’s full pre-pandemic schedule.

The AICC stated “The increased frequency is excellent news for Irish exporters and business travellers, providing greater flexibility and connectivity to the Gulf and across the MENA region. Enhanced air links such as these play a crucial role in supporting Ireland’s growing trade, tourism, and investment ties with the Arab world.”

Irish exports to Arab states increased by 14.65% from January–September 2025. Insights from the AICC-commissioned Jim Power Economic Report highlight why this partnership is strengthening.
