The Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce (AICC) has welcomed Emirates’ announcement of a third daily flight from Dublin to Dubai, launching 26 October 2025. The new service operated by a Boeing 777-300(ER) features 8 First Class private suites, 42 Business Class lie-flat seats, and 304 Economy seats, enhancing flexibility and connectivity for Irish businesses, through Dubai International Airport (DXB).
AICC said, “We’re thrilled to see even stronger connectivity between Ireland and the Middle East.” The move opens faster links to major trade and business hubs including Singapore, Sydney, and Kuala Lumpur, and boosts export potential with increased cargo capacity.
The news follows Emirates’ historic introduction of a four-class Boeing 777-300(ER) service from Dublin on 7 July, making it the first airline to do so. EK161/2 now features Premium Economy alongside upgraded First, Business, and Economy cabins, with EK163/4 set to follow from 16 October. Premium passengers can also expect a local touch onboard, with VOYA amenities, Keogh’s Crisps, and Killowen yogurt adding an Irish flavour to the experience.
