Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, announced an increase in its capacity on the carrier’s popular service to Glasgow. Effective From 25th May 2026, the frequency will increase from 4 to 6 weekly flights, with additional services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In addition Aer Lingus Regional’s Bristol route will also continue to operate daily, with two flights operating on Mondays and Fridays.
Cork Airport Head of Aviation Business Development and Communications Tara Finn, said “We are delighted to see Aer Lingus Regional increase its capacity from Cork to Glasgow for our 2026 summer schedule.”
Emerald Airlines Head of Commercial Ian Lough, said “We are delighted to be enhancing our services from Cork Airport with an increase in capacity on our popular Glasgow route. The addition of two extra weekly flights for summer 2026 reflects the strong demand we continue to see and reinforces our commitment to offering greater choice, flexibility and convenience for passengers travelling from Cork.”
