Aer Lingus inaugural service from Dublin to Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados commencing 31 March utilizing two class 184 seat Airbus A321XLR aircraft. The first service operated by EI-XLV Airbus A321-253NY-XLR, MSN 12248. The service will initially operate for a two-month period, beginning 31 March to 31 May, operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a flight time of 8 hours 30 minutes westbound and 7 hours 30 minutes eastbound.

The introduction of the Dublin–Barbados route will deliver benefits beyond leisure, supporting business, diaspora connections and wider tourism trade relationships between Ireland and Barbados.
