Aer Lingus A321LR 20 May

Aer Lingus 2023 Annual Report noted performance of new Dublin to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) route stating “We expanded into secondary cities, leveraging the geography and US preclearance facility at our Dublin hub, adding a new route to Cleveland which performed really well in its first year.”

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) service commenced in May 2023 operating four times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) using Airbus A321NeO-LR aircraft, with connections to over 20 European and UK destinations with over 90% of seats booked across peak summer 2023 season.

Aer Lingus seized Cleveland (CLE) market opportunity stating “With no direct flights between Europe and Ohio’s second largest city, the new route is also a new gateway between Europe and North America, continuing Aer Lingus’ highly focused strategy of growing its position as a transatlantic connecting carrier between Ireland, Europe and North America.”
