Aer Lingus deployed a SmartLynx Malta Airbus A330-300 on Dublin to Lanzarote (ACE), Canary Islands route between 17 and 19 July 2024 operating EIN778/9 according to Flightradar24 data.

On completion of Aer Lingus wet-lease 20 July the aircraft departed Dublin to Munster (FMO), Germany under flight number MYX9150 , to commence operations for sister carrier Smartlynx Estonia.

The aircraft is operated in 436 standard Economy Class seats reports aircraft data website Planespotters.net. The aircraft was delivered in June 2013 to Cebu Pacific as RP-C3341 on lease from CIT Aerospace. The aircraft was acquired by Macquarie AirFinance in September 2015 and leased to Hi Fly Malta as 9H-PTP from January 2022 and leased to SmartLynx Malta in May 2023.

SmartLynx Malta is an specialist full-service ACMI airline, headquartered in Malta and started operations in 2019 currently operating a fleet of aircraft , is the Maltese subsidiary of SmartLynx Group, owned by Dublin Headquartered Avia Solutions Group. The airline plans to expand its fleet registered under the Maltese AOC.
