Aer Lingus is boosting capacity on its Dublin–Malaga service this winter, effective from 26 October, deploying a 327-seat Airbus A330-300 in lieu of 174 A320-200 and 184 seat A320neo. Operating EIN582/3 service on Saturdays and Sundays, the widebody will add 306 extra weekly seats on the popular route.
This marks the second consecutive winter the carrier has operated the A330 on the service, reflecting sustained demand for autumn and winter sun getaways. While Malaga remains a favourite for Irish travellers seeking warmer climes, Tourism Ireland notes a parallel rise in “coolcation” trends — with more visitors heading north for off-season escapes. The shift highlights new opportunities for inbound tourism to Ireland amid changing holiday patterns.
