Irish budget carrier Ryanair, celebrated 20 million passengers at Torino Airport (5 November 2025 ), also arrival of its third aircraft based at “Sandro Pertini” Airport. Ryanair’s journey to Turin began 26 years ago in 1999 and, since then, Ryanair has experienced significant growth, adding national and international routes and fostering the development of traffic, employment and tourism.
Ryanair continues to develop year-round connectivity and tourism in Turin and Piedmont, operating a robust winter schedule with three based Boeing 737s operating over 368 flights per week (+30% growth) on 31 routes. This includes two new winter routes to Liverpool and Pescara, as well as increased frequencies on popular existing routes such as Dublin, London Stansted, Madrid, Marrakech and Trapani.

Torino Airport Director of Aviation Development, Paolo Papale said, “Ryanair plays a significant role in the growth of our airport. Also thanks to Ryanair flights, winter 2025/2026 will be the busiest ever for our airport. New routes are being added, such as Liverpool and Pescara, and there will be significant increases in frequencies to many destinations, including London Stansted, Madrid, Dublin, Porto, Brussels Charleroi, Copenhagen, Malta, and Marrakech. Finally, many snow routes have been confirmed, such as Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, London Luton, Manchester, and Shannon, dedicated to skiers from Northern Europe who choose our mountains for their winter holidays.”
