Aer Lingus deploys A321XLR on Emerald Airlines Dublin-Edinburgh Service - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Aer Lingus commenced 1st May operating a two class 184 seat Airbus A321XLR on EIN3252/3253 daily service on behalf of Emerald Airlines, exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional. Since start of summer schedule on 30th March Aer Lingus deployed a 174-seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft on service, to meet peak demand.

The inaugural Airbus A321XLR service, operated by EI-XLT Airbus A321-253NY(XLR) msn 11590 named “St Mella / Mella.”. EIN3252 departs Dublin at 10:10 local time, arriving in the Scottish capital at 11:15. The return flight, EIN3253, departs Edinburgh at 11:55, touching down in Dublin at 13:00.
