Pegasus deploys A321Neo on Istanbul-Dublin route - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

To meet peak Christmas travel demand Turkish carrier Pegasus is deploying 239 seat Airbus A321neo on its twice weekly Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Dublin service, up-gauging from 186 seat Airbus A320neo aircraft.

A321neo’s operated to date include, TC-RDD msn 11166 11 December, TC-RBZ msn 10938 18 December, TC-RBU msn 10917 21 December.

The A321neo is the largest member of the Airbus A320neo Family, offering unmatched range and performance. Equipped with new-generation engines and Sharklets, the A321neo delivers a 50% reduction in noise footprint and more than a 20% reduction in fuel burn and CO₂ compared to previous-generation single-aisle aircraft.

Pegasus Airlines’ current operates a fleet of 118 aircraft, including 6 A320ceo, 45 A320neo and 57 A321neo, and 9 Boeing 737-800. On 19 December Pegasus placed an $36 Billion order for 200 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft (100 firm and 100 purchase rights) for delivery from 2028.
