Africa Charter Airline, based in South Africa, has bolstered its fleet with the addition of a second Boeing 737-400F,  solidifying its long-term commitment to operating a 737 Classic freighter fleet.

The newly acquired aircraft registered C5-JRD, a 1991-built Boeing 737-4Q8(F) (MSN 24917), previously operated by ASL Airlines Ireland under the registration EI-JRD, was delivered between December 6-7. The aircraft routed from Sofia to Johannesburg, with stopovers in Luxor and Nairobi.

The carrier now operates a fleet of five Boeing 737 Classics, primarily used for aircraft hire, chartered flights, and cargo services. Additionally, Africa Charter Airline utilizes a King Air 200 for VIP operations. The airline also manages an in-house maintenance division, Jet Centre Aircraft Maintenance, to support its fleet operations.
