Qatar Airways Announced as Partner of The Australia British & Irish Lions 2025 Tour - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Qatar Airways announced its latest partnership as the Official Title Partner and Official Airline Partner of The Qatar Airways British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia 2025.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said “We are taking our commitment to the sport of rugby to the next level, flying some of the world’s best athletes, coaching staff and officials to compete in The Qatar Airways British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia 2025. We look forward to enabling rugby fans across the world to connect for this unique sporting event.”

The British & Irish Lions Tour is a historic and highly anticipated event (18 July – 2 August). which takes place every four years with 20,000 fans expected to travel to Australia. The Tour will see the Lions, a combined team of the best rugby players from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, take on the Wallabies in a series of Test matches as well as a number of games against Australian teams.

Qatar Airways operates from its Doha Hamad International Airport Hub to Dublin 14 times weekly using two class 253 seat Boeing 787-8 and 281 seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
