Take off for Pegasus new route Dublin to Ankara - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Pegasus Airlines launched a new direct flight from Dublin to the Turkish capital of Ankara, effective Wednesday 3 July operating three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using 186 seat Airbus A320neo aircraft.

TC-NCB Airbus A320-251N msn 8884 operated inaugural service. The aircraft is Irish connected, as leased from Dublin based aircraft lessor Avolon.

Dublin Airport Managing Director Gary McLean, said “We’re delighted to welcome Pegasus Airlines to Dublin Airport and this is an exciting new addition to the schedule at Dublin Airport that is sure to prove very popular with passengers.”

Pegasus Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Onur Dedeköylü, said “Our new Ankara-Dublin route not only adds a new destination to our growing European network but also links the capitals of Türkiye and Ireland, enhancing tourism and business ties between our nations.”
