The first visit of a Boeing 737 MAX 9 at Cork Airport took place on Monday 27 May. Dutch carrier Corendon Dutch Airlines operated a Lourdes charter using PH-CDP Boeing 737 MAX 9 msn 66348 touching down 1558 local as ‘CDN922’ and positioned back its Amsterdam base as ‘CDN922P’ at 1714 local.

Corendon Dutch Airlines became the first European union operator of the type in 2023, the aircraft is configured for up to 213 economy passengers. The Corendon Group has 3 AOC’s in Turkey, the Netherlands, and Malta, carrying 6 million passengers a year through its tourist flights from Europe to popular holiday destinations as well as direct flights from Europe to many cities of Anatolia.
