Bombardier Aerospace announced it has received orders for a total of five Global 6000 business jets from an undisclosed customer, the transaction is valued at approximately $293 million based on 2012 list price for the aircraft.

The announcement is a further boost to Bombardier Aerospace Belfast whom manufactures the forward fuselage, engine nacelles, horizontal stabilizer, tail-cone, wing to fuselage fairings, wing slats and other composite components on the Global 6000 programme.

President Bombardier Business Aircraft Steve Ridolfi said “There is strong momentum for our entire Global aircraft product line, this order reinforces, once again, the leadership of our products in terms of range, cabin volume and comfort, as well as state-of-the-art technology
