Acumen Aviation Appoints Marco Claluna As Associate Vice President – Valuation


Acumen Aviation announced the appointment of Mr. Marco Claluna as Associate Vice President – Valuation. Marco has joined Acumen’s Dublin Office and he will be a part of Acumen’s global team. He will continue to be based in Switzerland, with twenty years of experience, and commenced his career as Airframe and Engine Engineer at Jet Aviation AG, Kloten.

AerCap Delivers its First Airbus A320NEO Aircraft, on Lease to Volaris

AerCap Holdings N.V. announced the delivery of its first Airbus A320neo on lease to Volaris, making the airline the first carrier in North America to operate the aircraft type. This is the first of 10 A320neo aircraft to deliver to Volaris by AerCap, with a further 6 A321neo aircraft on order, delivering through 2018.

Aircastle Delivers Airbus A330-200 to Aerolíneas Argentinas

Aircastle Limited announced it has delivered one Airbus A330-200 aircraft on long-term lease to Aerolíneas Argentinas, the first of two deliveries which will support Aerolíneas’ fleet modernization. It will be used to replace older, less fuel-efficient aircraft and a second Airbus A330-200 is scheduled to be delivered in January 2017.

Apollo Aviation Expands Fleet With Latest Acquisitions

Apollo Aviation Group together with its affiliates announced that in the second quarter of 2016 it has contracted to purchase nine commercial aircraft including eight narrow-body and one wide-body, with the exception of one aircraft, the new aircraft are all from the in-production Airbus A320 and Boeing 737NG families, eight of the aircraft were acquired with leases attached to airlines based in Europe and North America.

GE Capital Aviation Services Announces First A320 NEO Delivery to AirAsia as part of a Deal Involving Nine Airbus Aircraft

GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) announced the delivery of its first Airbus A320neo to AirAsia from the purchase-and-leaseback transaction with the airline for five new Airbus A320neo aircraft powered by CFM LEAP engines. CFM is a joint venture between GE and Snecma SA. This delivery signifies the first A320neo for AirAsia and first A320neo to enter the GECAS portfolio.

SMBC Aviation Capital delivers Airbus A320-214 to IndiGo

SMBC Aviation Capital announced it has completed the delivery of an Airbus A320-214 aircraft (MSN 3750) to IndiGo (Interglobe Aviation Limited). The delivery was completed in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The delivery of this aircraft is the second A320-200s currently on lease to IndiGo.
