DHL Express, the world’s leading express service provider has introduced the Airbus A321PCF on Leipzig (LEJ) to Dublin route effective from 14th November 2022 operated by SmartLynx Malta replacing Boeing 757-200F capacity. #
The inaugural service BCS5QC/2881 arrived 0130 departed 2149 local operated by 9H-CGA Airbus A321-211(PCF) msn 00891 carries ‘”Less fuel burn. Flying Greener’ logo
The aircraft is a very efficient platform with a reduction in flight operational costs by up to 15% and up to 20% lower fuel consumption and emissions, with capacity for 14 large containers/pallets on the main deck and 10 LD3-type ‘AKH’ containers on the lower deck with a gross payload of over 28 metric tonnes.
DHL Express and SmartLynx Malta signed a partnership agreement for the introduction of two Airbus A321-200 freighters operating from Leipzig and integrated into DHL’s European network.
SmartLynx Airlines plans to grow fleet to 20 A321F units.
