Emerald Airlines, exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional franchise announced its 13th new route from Belfast City to Isle of Man commencing 24 April, operating 4 times per week, increasing to 6 weekly for the summer peak season using ATR72-600 aircraft.
The carrier announced to meet rising customer demand, the airline will increase its frequency of flights between Birmingham Airport and Belfast City Airport, operating up to 5 daily flights on weekdays to cater for the business market segment in particular, who require choice and flexibility of flight timings.
Belfast City Airport Commercial Director Katy Best, said “This new service to Isle of Man will be the 13th Aer Lingus route from Belfast City Airport providing excellent choice for passengers this summer. The first Aer Lingus flights operated by Emerald took off in March last year and we are very pleased with the performance and growth of the routes since then.”
Birmingham Airport Aviation Director Tom Screen, said “We are thrilled the BHX-Belfast City route is providing so popular. Aer Lingus Regional services deliver exactly what their customers want – a formula which has served them well to date and will continue to long into the future.”
