Aer Lingus has deployed two-class, 317-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft on selected Dublin–Madrid Barajas Airport services for the second consecutive winter season, effective 25 October 2026. The widebody capacity replaces 174-seat Airbus A320ceo and 180-seat A320neo aircraft on selected rotations. EI-DUZ A330-302 (MSN 0847) operated the first service of the season on 25 October.

The aircraft is scheduled to operate flight EI592/593 twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, through 29 November. The service will then revert to a weekly Sunday operation from 6 December through 27 December. The Airbus A330-300 is capable of supporting a broad range of missions, from short-haul European sectors to long-haul operations, offering strong seat-mile economics and operational flexibility.
