Aer Lingus operated a one-time Dublin-Nice service (EIN544/5) on Thursday 10 September 2026, using two-class, 317-seat Airbus A330-302 registered EI-ELA (msn 1025) in lieu of 174 Seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft, presumably due to high connecting traffic volume through Dublin hub.
The deployment highlights Aer Lingus’ focus on leveraging the versatility of its A330 fleet to capture market opportunities while maintaining operational efficiency. The Airbus A330-300 is capable of supporting a broad range of missions, from short-haul European sectors to long-haul operations, offering strong seat-mile economics and operational flexibility.
