Aer Lingus operated a one-time Dublin-Manchester service (EIN204/5) on Tuesday 1 September 2026, using two-class, 313-seat Airbus A330-302 registered EI-EIN (msn 1951) in lieu of two class 184-seat Airbus A321LR/XLR aircraft, presumably due high demand post UK bank holiday weekend.
The A330 deployment highlights Aer Lingus’ strategic approach to leveraging its fleet for market opportunities. The Airbus A330-300, with its remarkable versatility, is capable of efficiently serving a wide range of routes, from short-haul sectors to long-haul routes, with impressive seat-mile costs.
