United Airlines operated a one-time Boeing 767-300ER substitution on its Washington Dulles–Dublin service on 11-12 August, deploying a three-class 167-seat Boeing 767-322ER in place of the scheduled two class 176 seat Boeing 757-200ER.
The aircraft, N667UA (msn 29239), operated UAL317 from Washington Dulles to Dublin, arriving at 13:55 local time. The 767 subsequently departed Dublin for Newark as UAL316 at 16:35. providing additional premium-cabin capacity on the transatlantic sectors.
Today United Airlines operates a fleet of 37 Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, which expects to retire the 767 fleet by 2030, with its major Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner order serving as the primary replacement.
