United Airlines has deployed its four-class, 350-seat Boeing 777-300ER on one of its two daily Newark-Dublin services, in lieu of four-class, 276-seat Boeing 777-200ER service.

The 777-300ER aircraft operated flight UAL23/2 on 25 July with 777-300ER N2639U (msn 62650), while N2332U (msn 62643) operated the service on 15 August. The aircraft substitution represents a capacity increase of 27% compared to Boeing 777-200ER with an additional 74 seats per sector.

The carrier operates 20 777-300ERs, with the type primarily assigned to high-density flagship international routes from New York/Newark and San Francisco hubs, as well as selected high-demand domestic transcontinental and Hawaiian services.
