In an LinkedIn post ASL Airlines Ireland announced the ASL Airlines management team recently visited Jeddah to meet with Saudia Cargo, adding it was an important opportunity to review operational performance, reflect on progress since the launch of the A330F programme, and discuss future opportunities across the network.
ASL Airlines Ireland stated “Since operations began, the partnership has continued to build momentum. Two Airbus A330-300 freighter aircraft are now each achieving approximately 360 block hours per month between Saudi Arabia and Europe, a significant milestone that meets the ambitious 2024 operational target and demonstrates the strength of the network.”
The visit also included a meeting in Riyadh between ASL Airlines Ireland Managing Director John Rawl and Ireland’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Gerry Cunningham. The discussions focused on the expanding aviation and commercial relationship between Ireland and the Kingdom, highlighting the strategic importance of connectivity, trade and collaboration between the two markets.
