Alexandria Airlines, the Cairo-based Egyptian carrier, operated a one-off charter service to Dublin in late July using SU-KHM, a Boeing 737-5C9 (c/n 26438), in support of UEFA Champions League qualifying fixtures.

Operating as JAV4452, the aircraft routed Yerevan (EVN), Armenia to Cluj-Napoca (CLJ), Romania – Dublin on 27 July, arriving at 23:36 local time. Following arrival, the aircraft was parked on the West Apron at Dublin Airport.

The charter transported FC Ararat-Armenia ahead of the club’s UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second-leg fixture against Shamrock Rovers. While the Irish champions secured a 2-1 victory at Tallaght Stadium, the Armenian side progressed to the next round with a 3-2 aggregate win.

SU-KHM departed Dublin in the early hours of 29 July, again operating as JAV4452, with a scheduled departure at 02:20 local time for Cluj-Napoca (CLJ), Romania and onwards to Yerevan (EVN), Armenia.
