FLY4 Airlines announced expansion its operational footprint with the launch of its first services from Belfast International Airport (BFS) in Northern Ireland, marking its first base on Island of Ireland. EI-FFC Boeing 737-8K5 c/n 37251 positioned Istanbul to Belfast International 4 May using callsign FFA886P. The inaugural flights departed from Belfast International 8 May operating on behalf of TUI to Reus as TOM1508/9 and Corfu as TOM1526/7.

For FLY4 Airlines CFO Doug Fay, the milestone also carried personal significance. Born in Belfast, his first-ever flight departed from BFS, a family holiday to Menorca in 1991. The carrier stated the base launch was made possible through close collaboration, alongside the support of teams on the ground including BOSA, TUI, Swissport and Belfast International Airport.
