Aer Lingus is maximizing utilization of its Airbus A321neo long-haul fleet this summer by deploying the 184-seat, two-class Airbus A321LR and Airbus A321XLR on selected European services from its Dublin hub between North American rotations.

The strategy enables the airline to optimize aircraft productivity while providing incremental capacity on intra-European routes , replacing Airbus A320ceo and A320neo aircraft on selected services. The carrier operates regular scheduled A321LR/XLR services to Amsterdam, Brussels, London Heathrow, Munich and Paris Charles de Gaulle, alongside scheduled flights to Bordeaux and Oslo.

Flight tracking data from Flightradar24 indicates that Aer Lingus has also deployed its A321LR and A321XLR fleet on a wide range of short- and medium-haul European sectors this summer, replacing Airbus A320ceo and A320neo aircraft on selected flights, reflecting Aer Lingus’ continued focus on fleet flexibility.

Destinations that have seen A321LR/XLR operations include Bilbao, Birmingham, Faro, Dubrovnik, Lanzarote, Lyon, Malaga, Milan Linate, Palma de Mallorca, Perpignan, Rome Fiumicino, Santiago de Compostela, Split, Tenerife South, Venice, Vienna and Zurich.
