Emirates the world’s largest international airline, has recently deployed its new Airbus A350 aircraft on flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Dublin operating evening service EK163/4 effective 27 May to 12 June 2026. The first service was operated by A6-EXO Airbus A350-941 c/n 750.

The three-class Emirates A350 is configured with 32  Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 arrangement, 28 seats in the Premium Economy in a 2-3-2 layout, and 238 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration. The A350 features Emirates’ latest-generation iconic cabin design, with higher ceilings and wider aisles throughout, creating a more spacious and airier environment. The cabin is meticulously designed to ensure passenger comfort, seamlessly integrating smart technology and a world-class in-flight entertainment system to elevate the travel experience.

The airline’s next-generation version of the ICE inflight entertainment system on the A350 delivers a cinematic experience with stunning 4K and 4K HDR displays on ultra-responsive touchscreens. The A350 also offers high-performance Wi-Fi, offering uninterrupted global connectivity using ViaSat’s Global Xpress (GX) satellite network.

Emirates ordered 73 Airbus A350-900 aircraft with deliveries scheduled through 2031 as part of the airline’s’ broader plans to support Dubai’s’ Economic Agenda, which aims to add 400 cities to Dubai’s foreign trade map over the next decade. To date, Emirates has received delivery of 22 A350 aircraft since 2024, also marks the first new aircraft type to join the Emirates fleet since 2008.

The A350 enables Emirates to expand into new destinations globally, including mid-sized airports unsuited for larger aircraft. The Emirates A350 will be delivered in two versions, one for regional routes and one for ultra long-haul routes.
