Skyliner Aviation reported that on December 18, 2024, the Airbus A321-231, with the registration 9H-SLG and manufacturer serial number (msn) 01946, was ferried from Forli, Italy, to Ireland West Airport for part-out. The aircraft, operating under the callsign ART9304, landed at 15:18 local time.
The airframe, which is now 21.8 years old, had its first flight in March 2003 and was initially delivered to Spanair in April 2003 as EC-INB. According to planespotters.net, it was later registered to ILFC as EI-EUJ in February 2012.
Since then, the aircraft has had several operators, including Mihin Lanka, SriLankan Airlines, Avion Express, and SmartLynx Malta. Throughout its history, it has been leased from AerCap, with its most recent operator being SmartLynx Malta.
