Thomson Airways newly delivered Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner G-TUID began a series of crew training flights on 22nd August arriving 1129 and departing 1204, routing Doncaster-Shannon to Manchester returning later the same day.

The aircraft made subsequent visits on 23rd,25th, 28th, 29th August.

The first flight of G-TUID was on 31st July and delivered Paine Field to Manchester on 16th August.

Thomson Airways has four Boeing 787-8s in service (G-TUIA/B/C/D) with a further four on order.

Thomson 787 Dreamliner carries 291 passengers and is configured with 47 seats in the airline’s Premium Club cabin and 244 seats in the Economy Club cabin.

Thomson Airways is part of the TUI Travel PLC and is the UK’s third largest airline operating 58 aircraft.
