EJ-AWES Bombardier Challenger 605 |
Shannon based Sonas Aviation has added first aircraft for their Irish AOC with EJ-AWES delivery from Jersey to Shannon on 20 March. The 2014 built Bombardier Challenger 605 registered EJ-AWES formerly T7-YES has allocated callsign SON001.
On 23rd March the aircraft undertook a series of training flights from Shannon to Belfast International and Cork Airport.
The aircraft positioned Shannon Airport to Farnborough via Cork Airport on 27th March.
Graham Williamson CEO Sonas Aviation said “Ireland (with its EJ registry) offers a simple importation and tax environment for owners. It is a renowned and secure legal jurisdiction for financiers and the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) is committed to developing and growing its already strong aviation sector.”
Some of the currently fashionable and established European jurisdictions, such as Malta, are struggling to keep up with the volume of aircraft coming onto their registries,” suggests Graham.
Sonas is the Irish for Happiness or Good Fortune.
