Kam Air Boeing 737-500

Sentinel Aviation Services Limited delivered a  former Transaero operated Boeing 737-5Q8 EI-DTX to its new owner Kamair under the registration UR-BAA to be operated by Bravo Airways. This project involved the input of many companies based in and around Shannon Airport and this successfully demonstrated the partnerships and willingness to cooperate in delivering first class transition projects for which larger base maintenance facilities would not have slots during the busy months.

The project team and aircraft records were based at the company’s facilities in Shannon Airport House and SASL provided 24/7 customer support from a technical and financial standpoint enabling a smooth managed transition from the previous

John Drysdale, SVP Technical said “We worked with ASL (formally Air Contractors) for airframe and hangarage support and Vortex Aviation who provided the engine maintenance services sometimes in parallel while the aircraft was in the ASL hangar. In addition we also used the services of Eirtech Aviation for the ships new livery, West Coast Aviation who provided component and parts support and Signature Flight support for crew handling and departure. Having these companies close by who all showed a willingness to deliver first class customer service on a true 24/7 basis ensured we could provide very short turnaround solutions with such issues as engine shop support”.
