Ryanair has taken delivery of the first 21 of its 183 new Boeing 737-800 order, worth over $16bn at current list prices, bringing fleet total to 319 aircraft.
EI-FIP Boeing 737-8AS construction number 61577 was delivered Boeing Field to Dublin on 2nd July entering service next day as ‘Ryanair 12FQ’ to London Gatwick.
EI-FIR Boeing 737-8AS construction number 61578 was delivered Boeing Field to Dublin on 3rd July, positioning to Bologna next day as ‘Ryanair 4’.
Ryanair will take 38 further 737-800 NG aircraft deliveries between September 2015 and March 2015, which will enable the airline to open more new bases and routes and additional frequencies on existing routes for Winter 2015 and Summer 2016.
