Ryanair announced that from the 12th October its closing all 11 routes to Verona citing non-compliance with contractual terms , moving the routes to competing airports.

Ryanair Deputy CEO Michael Cawley said “From Friday, October 12 Ryanair will cease operations in Verona, with the consequent loss of 39 weekly flights, 500,000 passengers per annum and up to 500 will be lost in Verona, while Ryanair will continue to grow in the low-cost airports who work with us to provide low fares”.

Ryanair’s 11 Verona routes: Bari, Brindisi, Alghero, Brussels, Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Madrid, Paris,Palermo, Trapani. Ryanair operates Dublin to Verona three times weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
