Ryanair deploys Boeing 737 MAX from Ireland West Airport to Faro & Milan - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

Irish budget carrier Ryanair commenced operating a mix of 189 seat Boeing 737-800 and 197 seat Boeing 737-8-200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft on summer season routes from Milan Bergamo (Italy) operated by Malta Air and Faro (Portugal) to Ireland West Airport.

The Ryanair Group operates 147 Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft and is increasingly deploying the aircraft on routes into Ireland West Airport from European bases at Alicante, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Faro, London Luton , London Stansted, Manchester, Malaga, Milan Bergamo.

The Boeing 737-8200 ‘Gamechanger’ aircraft are fitted Boeing Sky Interior, featuring modern sculpted sidewalls and window reveals, LED lighting that enhances the sense of spaciousness and larger pivoting overhead stowage bins. The 197 seat aircraft reduces noise emissions by 40% and fuel consumption by 16% delivering 4% more capacity per aircraft.
