Ryanair yesterday afternoon took delivery of its final Boeing 737-800 on order (EI-EVY) ,the 350th Boeing 737 delivered to Ryanair and 305th aircraft in service net of disposals and is the last Boeing of the current order with the US Manufacturer which began thirteen years ago after receiving its first Boeing 737-800 in March 1999. The airline concluded a sale and lease back agreement with Avolon Aerospace for the last four  aircraft delivered.

Ryanair’s fleet is the youngest in Europe, with an average age of less than four years, the airline confirmed its intention to place a significant order for further aircraft once a sensible pricing agreement with a suitable manufacturer can be reached.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said “The arrival of two new aircraft brings to 305 the number of Boeing aircraft in the Ryanair fleet. We remain ready to place a significant order for more aircraft if and when we can reach a sensible pricing agreement with one of the manufacturers”.
