Ryanair is the first European airline to carry 9 million passengers in one month, as passenger numbers increased by 1% in August to 9.02 million passenger. It’s load factor increased by 1 point to 89%.
In the rolling 12 months period to end of August it carried 80.2 million passengers up 2%.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said “Ryanair carried over 9m passengers in August 2013, the first European airline to do so and our load factor also rose by 1% from 88% to 89%.”
