Ryanair Boeing 737-800

On weekend of 28 September Irish budget carrier Ryanair took delivery of a record six brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft over a 27 hour period. This created considerable social media attention praticulary with the delivery of the four aircraft on the night of Saturday 29 September.

In September the carrier added a total of eight brand new Boeing 737-800s growing its fleet to a total of 450 aircraft.

The carrier commenced a new registration sequence with EI-GXG and EI-GXH.
