Riviera Travel is launching long-haul tours from Ireland for the first time, giving holidaymakers the chance to explore some of the world’s most iconic destinations in small, intimate groups, with comfort and style. Departures for 2026 and 2027 include India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Japan, Morocco, and the Mekong.

Riviera Travel Product Director, Will Sarson, said “We’ve spent years perfecting our long-haul experiences across Europe, and now Irish holidaymakers can enjoy the same level of expertise and personalised service closer to home.”

At the heart of Riviera’s expansion are its Classic and Signature collections – small-group tours designed for those who want to see the world a little differently. While Signature tours have been available in the UK for several years, they are now offered for the first time from Ireland. All long-haul tours offer intimate group sizes, with just 36 guests on Classic tours and 22 on Signature tours. Holidaymakers can expect thoughtful touches, authentic local experiences, and the kind of personal attention that turns a great trip into an unforgettable one.

Riviera is also launching its first long-haul river cruise along the Mekong, giving Irish holidaymakers a new way to experience Southeast Asia. The journey combines relaxed days on the water with time to explore local markets, historic towns, and everyday life along the river.
