The Taoiseach Micheál Martin hosted the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte in Dublin for a working dinner at Farmleigh House to discuss local and global issues on evening of Monday 23 May.
The Dutch Prime Minister travelled to Dublin onboard PH-BOV Boeing 737-700 BBJ msn 64970. The aircraft was delivered on 9th March 2018 replacing an Fokker F28, the aircraft operates under its registration and KLM flight numbers according to operational requirements, and maintained by Fokker Techniek, based at Maastricht.
The BBJ is based on the 737-700 airliner, with the centre section, strengthened aft section, wings and landing gear of the 737-800. The glass cockpit incorporates many features of the Boeing 777 cockpit. The BBJ is certified and capable of 180mins extended-range, twin-engine operations (ETOPS) with a maximum range of 10,140km.
