Belfast City Airport announced Scottish carriet Loganair has stepped in to operate a limited Christmas season flights between Belfast City and Isle of Man, operating four services between Saturday 21st December 2024 and 2nd January 2025, using 72 seat ATR72-500 aircraft.
Belfast City Airport Aviation Development Manager Ellie McGimpsey, said “We are excited to see Loganair introduce its service to Isle of Man in time for the festive season, in which we facilitate the homecoming of up to 10,000 passengers a day. Whether they’re travelling to the Isle of Man or returning to Belfast to reunite with loved ones, our unrivalled location at the heart of the city means passengers will enjoy a fast and convenient journey.”
Loganair Chief Commercial Director Luke Lovegrove, said “It is incredibly important to us that we are able to keep passengers connected, especially over the festive period, and we’re proud that we are able to step in and reinstate a service that is relied on heavily over the holidays. “We look forward to welcoming passengers on board as we fly them home for Christmas.”
