Avolon redelivers one Airbus A320-200 to VietJet Air and one Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Garuda Indonesia
Avolon announced the delivery of one Airbus A320-200 aircraft to Vietjet Air and one Airbus A330-300 aircraft to Garuda Indonesia. This is the second Avolon aircraft on lease to VietJet Air and the seventh Avolon aircraft on lease to Garuda Indonesia.
AWAS delivers fifth planned new A320 passenger aircraft on lease to Aegean Airlines
AWAS announced that it has delivered one new A320 passenger aircraft to long-time customer Aegean Airlines. This aircraft was previously ordered by the airline directly from the manufacturer and is part of a multiple aircraft Purchase and Leaseback transaction announced in early 2015 with AWAS.
AWAS delivers second of four planned new A320 passenger aircraft to long-time customer VivaAerobus
AWAS announced that it has delivered the second of four planned new A320 passenger aircraft to its customer, VivaAerobus, purchasing the aircraft the airline had previously ordered from the manufacturer and then placing it with them on a long term lease. The delivery of these new A320s from a PLB deal agreed in 2015 is the next important step to define the future of VivaAerobus.
GE Capital Aviation Services Delivers First of Six New Leased Boeing 737-800s to Air India Express
GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) announced the delivery of a new leased Boeing 737-800 aircraft to new customer Air India Express to expand the carrier’s fleet. Five more new 737-800 aircraft are scheduled for delivery to the airline later this year. All are part of GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing.
