AerCap Holdings Authorizes Share Repurchase Program of $250 Million

AerCap Holdings N.V.announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a new $250 million share repurchase program, which will run through December 31, 2016. This program is in addition to the $250 million share repurchase program announced on May 31, 2016, which runs through September 30, 2016, as well as the $400 million share repurchase program announced on February 23, 2016 that was completed earlier this year.

Avolon delivers one A320-200 to Air Berlin

Avolon announced the delivery of one Airbus A320-200 aircraft to Air Berlin. This is the tenth Avolon aircraft on lease to Air Berlin.


CIT Aerospace Signs 39 Agreements Related to the Lease of Commercial Aircraft and Delivers 26 Aircraft in Q2 2016

CIT Group Inc announced that CIT Aerospace signed a total of 39 agreements in the second quarter of 2016 for the current and future leases of commercial aircraft. CIT Aerospace also delivered 26 aircraft, including new and used aircraft and lease extensions of existing fleet, to its airline customers around the world.

GE Capital Aviation Services Announces $280 million Senior Debt Financing Agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas

GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) announced a $280 million, 10.5 year term, Senior Debt agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas. The debt is secured by four A330-200s powered by GE’s CF6 engines and three B737-800s powered by CFM56 engines. The four A330s are scheduled to fund in 2016 and the three B737-800s in 2018. GECAS’s relationship and commitment to Aerolíneas Argentinas dates back to the 1990’s.

Kahala Aviation Group, Ltd announced the acquisition of two A340-300 aircraft MSNs 170 and 193 on lease to Aerolineas Argentinas S.A.


Waypoint Leasing to Re-Deploy Aircraft from CHC to Operators in Africa and Asia

Waypoint Leasing (Ireland) Limited the largest independent global helicopter leasing company, announced that it will place two AW139 helicopters with new customers in Africa and Asia, respectively. The aircraft are currently being returned from CHC and will be re-deployed with the new customers in support of oil and gas operations.
