Ireland West Airport Marks 2 Years of Aer Lingus Service to Heathrow - IrishAero - Irish Aviation Research Institute

On 26 March, Ireland West Airport took to its social media channels to celebrate the second anniversary of Aer Lingus’ daily service to London Heathrow operated by Airbus A320neo aircraft. Since its launch, nearly 200,000 passengers have traveled on the route.

In addition to offering a direct service to Heathrow, the flight provides seamless connectivity for travelers from the West of Ireland to various North American cities via London Heathrow. The codeshare partnership with airlines like British Airways also offers passengers access to over 80 global destinations, making Heathrow one of Europe’s largest hubs for onward travel.
